Our wines are made in the times of traditions past. We got started when we were partners in Mr and Ms Christmas Tree Farm from 1998 to 2002. One year, at the auction held at the State Christmas Tree Growers Association convention, we bid on some homemade wine. Mike loved it! When we were no longer able to get this wine, he decided make some of his own. He got a recipe from a friend and actually turned out a very good wine the very first time! From then on, it was experiment time on our sun porch. We bought a small stainless steel tank to make more volume of wine, and still could not keep up with the demand of our family and friends -they loved drinking it from our sprite bottles! We asked them if they would buy it if we bottled it and put a cork in it, and they said yes! We decided to get out of our partnership with the tree farm and plant a vineyard. Several years later we started our building and here we are! We are a new winery, opened in September 23, 2006. Somewhere along the way, we won a Gold Medal for our Blackberry Grape wine in an amateur International Winemaker contest.
